The COAS accepts for online publishing complete academic books, such as monographs, textbooks, proceedings, edited books, book summaries, research reports, dissertations, theses, and the other academic editions (COAS Open Books), exclusively written in good English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these).

All manuscripts submitted for publishing will have blind reviewing (3 reviewers). After finishing this process they will get regular ISBN for online editions and will be published at the COAS website (as a pdf file), in the COAS Bookshelf, at no additional charge. The COAS Open Books will be labeled as Open Access edition and will be freely and immediately available worldwide. The COAS sends all e-books to the digital repository of National Library of Serbia for archiving.

In addition to the open access electronic version, option of a print edition is offered alternatively for those authors who wish to publish a printed book respectively, as the COAS edition or author's edition.

In addition to the COAS Bookshelf, all the COAS Open Books will be submitted for listing to the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB), Web of Science (WoS), Scopus and to the other international databases.

The COAS Open Books will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY) license, so they can be reused and redistributed as long as the original author is attributed.

The authors of books accepted for publishing need to get the ORCID number (www.orcid.org), and Thomson-Reuters researcher ID (www.researcherid.com).
