Center for Open Access in Science
COAS e-Books * COAS Conference Proceedings
The COAS accepts for online publishing complete academic books, such as monographs, textbooks, proceedings, edited books, book summaries, research reports, dissertations, theses, and the other academic editions, exclusively written in good English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these).
All manuscripts submitted for publishing should have blind reviewing (3 reviewers). After finishing this procedure each book get regular ISBN and DOI, and it is published at the COAS website (as a pdf file), at no additional charge. The COAS Open Books are labeled as Open Access editions and freely and immediately available worldwide.
The COAS deposits all e-books to the Internet Archive and to the digital repository of National Library of Serbia for archiving.
In addition to the open access electronic version, option of a print edition is offered alternatively for those authors who wish to publish a printed book respectively (hard copy), as the COAS edition or author's edition.
All the COAS Open Books are submitted for listing to the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB), Web of Science (WoS), Scopus and to the other international databases.

The COAS Open Books are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY) license, so they can be reused and redistributed as long as the original author is attributed.
The authors of books accepted for publishing should get the ORCID number (www.orcid.org).
